Item Allozyme variation in populations of dwarf coconut cultivars(2004) Geethalakshmi, P.; Niral, V.; Parthasarathy, V.A.Six dwarf coconut cultivars viz., COD, MYD, CGD, MOD, GDD and GBGD were studied for isozyme polymorphism using seven enzyme systems - EST, PER, PPO, MDH, ACP, ADH and GOT. Among the cultivars, higher enzyme polymorphism was observed in GDD and least in GBGD. Of the seven isozyme systems, PPO showed higher polymorphism followed by EST, GOT, PER and MDH. ACP and ADH did not show any intrapopulation variation.Item Analysis of coconut cultivars and hybrids using isozyme polymorphism(ACTA BOT CROAT, 2004) Parthasarathy, V.A.; Geethalakshmi, P.; Niral, V.Item Characterization of coconut germplasm based on protein polymorphism(2005-06) Geethalakshmi, P.; Niral, V.; Parthasarathy, V.A.Item Genetic diversity among coconut (Cocos nucifera L.) genotype using isozymes(2005) Geethalakshmi, P.; Parthasarathy, V.A.; Niral, V.Item Interpopulation allelomorphism in tall and dwarf populations of the coconut(2007) Niral, V.; Geethalakshmi, P.; Parthasarathy, V.A.Item Interpopulation variation in coconut(2006-12) Geethalakshmi, P.; Niral, V.; Parthasarathy, V.A.Item Polymorphism of isoperoxidases in coconut cultivars(2006-03) Geethalakshmi, P.; Parthasarathy, V.A.; Niral, V.Banding pattern of spindle leaf isoperoxidases were studied in six dwarf and eight tall coconut varieties using polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Differences in banding patterns were observed both within and between cultivars. Only Gudanjali Dwarf showed intrapopulation polymorphism among dwarfs while, Java Tall showed highest intrapopulation variation among talls.
