Item Anatonchus ferox n.sp., with miscellaneous notes on Anatonchidae (Mononchida)(1984) Siddiqi, M.R.Anatonchus ferox n.sp. from Fiji is described and illustrated. Females are 3.6-4.1 mm long and have a stoma 64-70 X 38-45 Mm, a didelphic gonad and a filiform tail 640-760 tim long, and the male has a body 3.23 mm long and spicules 118 um long. The Family name Tigronchidae Ivanova & Dzhuraeva, 1971 is emended to Tigronchoididae and is synonymized with Anatonchidae. Tigronchotdes and Tigronchus are proposed as junior synonyms of Anatonchus. Anatonchus varidentus (Ivanova & Dzhuraeva, 1971) n.comb. and Anatonchus tauricus (Kirjanova in Kirjanova & Krall, 1969) n.comb. are proposed for Trigronchoides varidentus and Tigronchus tauricus, respectively. Truxonchus paralleni (Jairajpuri & Khan, 1982) n.comb. is proposed for Anatonchus paralleni Jairajpuri & Khan, 1982, and Truxonchus confiindus Siddiqi, 1984 becomes its junior objective synonym. Specimens of Anatonchus ferox n.sp. were recovered from samples collected by Marshall F. Kirby in 1976 in Fiji Islands. They were heat-killed, fixed in 3-5 per cent formalin solution and mounted in dehydrated glycerin after processing through warm lactophenol. The species is described below and comments are provided on the invalidity of Tigronchidae, Tigronchoides, Tigronchus and Truxonchus confundus.Item Longidorus Edmundsi N.Sp. (Dorlaimida:Longidoridat) From Seagrape In Windward Islands [Longidorus Edmundsi N.Sp.(Dorylaimida:Longidoridae) En Coccoloba En Lasislas Debarlovento](1977) Hunt, D.J.; Siddiqi, M.R.Longidorus edmundsi n.sp is described from about the roots of Coccoloba uvifera growing on the beach near VieuxFort,st.Lucia.L edmundsi is recognized by a less tapering anterior end with a broad, truncate lip region, short amphidial pouches extending almost completely around the head, odontostylet guide ring located at less than one lip region width from the anterior end, short rounded tail in adults and the length of the body and odontostyle. its closest reatives are L tarjani and L saginus. it differs fro L tarjani by shorter body length and much shorter odontostyle and from L saginus by a more anteriorly placed odontostylet guide ring, shorter odontostle and more posterior vulva.Item Radopholus Similis(1973-04) Orton Williams, K.J.; Siddiqi, M.R.Item Rotylenchus microstriatus n.sp. (Hoplolaimidae: Nematoda) from Bolivia(1983) Siddiqi, M.R.; Corbett, D.C.M.Rotylenchus microstriatus n.sp. is described from Musa sp. and Citrus reticulata in Bolivia. It has males and is characterized by a continuous and finely striated lip region of 9 to 11 annules.Item Short Communications(1980) Siddiqi, M.R.; Klingler, J.Item Sicorinema Gen. N. And Moshajia Gen. N.(Dorylaimida: Crateronematidae) With Descriptions of Four New Species(1982) Siddiqi, M.R.Two new genera of dorylaimid nematodes, Sicorinema and Moshajia, are proposed in the family Crateronematidae Siddiqi, 1969. Both are characterized by a wide lumened odontostyle bearing a large aperture. Two new species of each of these genera are described below and Lordellonema warriari Jairajpuri, 1965 is tranferred to Moshajia. The nematodes for this study were heat-killed, fixed in a 3-5% solution of formaldehyde and mounted in dehydrated glycerine by processing through warm lactophenol.Item Two New Species of Iotonchus Cobb (Nematoda: Mononchida) from Fiji Islands(1984) Siddiqi, M.R.Iotonchus kirbyi n. sp. and I. rapidulus n. sp. are described from Fiji Islands. Both species are pseudo-monodelphic having a reduced, non-functional posterior branch of reproductive organs. I. kirbyi has females 2.84-3.31 mm long, vulva 1.82-2.39 mm from anterior end of body and stoma 58-64 μm long by 31-33 [Jim wide. I. rapidulus females are 1.7-2.3 mm long and have vulva at 1.15-1.42 mm from anterior end and stoma 30-36 μm long by 19-27 μm wide.
