dc.description.abstractParadasynus roslratui Dist. a coreid bug was recently recorded as a new pest of coconut in India. The nymphs and adults feed Ion the tender nuts causing immature nut fall or malformation of nuts.There are five nymphal instars and the total life periods 82-97 days.The description of various stages, life history, nature and extent of damage and the distribution of the pest in space and time are discussed.en_US
