| dc.description.abstract | Anthers from Nicotiana tabacum L., cv. Wisconsin-38, were treated with various concentrations of Ethyl-methane-sulphonate (EMS) during different application times. Low doses and short application times showed increases in the number of anther producing plantlets, average number of plantlets per anther, and early plantlet production. The mutagen treatment increased the variance of protein electrophoresis fractions and chlorophyll content of the plantlets. | en_US |
