Abstract
The pattern of production and productivity of coconut in Kerala over the years 1957-58 to 1974-75 has been, critically analysed with special reference to the problem of decline in its productivity. The possible reasons for the productivity decline are identified and suggestions on the course of action to arrest it are made.
