Sci., Vol.34 No.1, March 1964http://hdl.handle.net/123456789/5872Of the three weedicides—Bi-hedenol, Tributon and Dowpon—tried in the year 1961 for the control of Cyperus rotundas L., the first two at concentrations of 13.5 kg. or more per hectare were found to be effective. Out of the six weedicides—IPG, EPC, 2, 4-dinitrophenol, EFT AM, Dalapon and Iso-Cornox—tried in 1962, only Dalapon was found to be effective. This chemical at the concentration of 5 kg. per hectare gave 86 per cent mortality of the weed, and at high concentration of 20 kg. per hectare it gave complete mortality.enStudies on the Control of Nut-Grass Cyperus Rotundus L. in Coconut Gardens by Chemical WeedicidesArticle
