Fifteen insect and twenty eight spider species were found feeding on S. typica. Among the insect predators, Endochus inornatus (Stal.), Euagoras plagiatus Burmeister, Occamus typicus Dist, Rhinocoris fuscipes Fabr., Geocoris sp., Stethoconus praefectus D. and Ankylopteryx octpunctata octopunctata (Fabr.) were the important ones.
