Potassium release parameters varied widely in different zones indicating a wide variation jn K-supplying capacity of these soils. Cumulative Potassium Release (CPR), Total Step Potassium (TSK) and Constant Rate Potassium (CRK) had positive and significant relationship with each other. Both the potassium release parameters and forms of potassium were positively and significantly correlated with each other. Significant positive correlation of CPR and TSK with non exchangeable potassium having V values (r= 0.992** and 0.991**, respectively) may serve as a good index of the K-supplying capacity of these soils.enPotassium Release Characteristic of Some Soils of Arecanut GardensArticle
