The results of a survey on the pests of stored arecanut carried out in Mangalore (Karnataka) are given here along with a review of the literature. Four storage insects, a parasite and a predatory bug are reported here as new records. Coccotrypes carpophagus was the most serious pest. Twenty one pests have been recorded so far.enArticle
