The drier can be operated on electricity (single phase), biogas burner or kerosene wick stove. During the rainy season 40 kg fermented beans were dried from an initial moisture content of 115% (db) to 8% (db) in 60 hours. The drier gave a heat utilisation efficiency of 53h when uparut,u on electricity.
